Proud to share a new personal scene I’ve been working on based on the amazing art and concept from Darren Bartley along with some thematic inspirations from the show, Scavenger’s Reign and the film, Furiosa.
I wanted to challenge myself with this scene to create everything, assets, characters, materials, FX from scratch. Of course this meant watching a bunch of fantastic tutorials to help me understand the magic being done under the hood. Links to those at the bottom of this post.
This was my first time using Mixamo to rig/animate characters I made. Other animations are done in UE5 through Blueprints, vertex anims, or in the Sequencer.
Unless specified otherwise, all rendering, post processing, etc. are done in Unreal Engine 5. Videos edited with DaVinci Resolve.
